Evidence-based Nursing Case for Bed Rest Time after Bone Marrow Examination

Abstract

|
Purpose: : This study aimed to determine whether there was a difference in bleeding between bed rest time 2 hours and 4 hours after bone marrow examination.
Methods: We searched nine electronic databases and reviewed the studies according to criteria. The final three Non-Randomized Studies (one non-randomized controlled study and two observational studies) were selected.
Results: The quality evaluation results were checked as having a low risk of bias for three study. Based on the GRADE system, the final evidence level was evaluated as ¡®Moderate¡¯, and the recommendation grade was determined as ¡®Strong¡¯.
Conclusion: We recommended that patients have bed rest time for 2 hours after bone marrow examination.
